The Next Generation

Elections. Politicians. Big talk and all show. The world of politics has become a corrupt and greedy industry. Worse than that, morals and values have been destroyed and tolerance is at an all time high, while standards are at an all time low. Morality is frowned upon and even persecuted, while perversion is applauded.
Isaiah 5:20-21,23 “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!”
With government taking over and liberals in powerful positions, conservative Christians can feel rather helpless. Of course, we have eternity with our Savior to look forward to, but watching our Nation unashamedly mock our God, you can't help feeling a little disheartened. Our generation is no exception. The “iGeneration” has little to no interest in politics. They are an aloof generation and their apathetic attitude makes them easy prey for smooth talking politicians and liberal brainwashing. What do you except, they are pounded with socialism, liberalism, feminism, and atheism daily, since that first day of school. Our generation needs to understand, we are the future of America. “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.” –Ronald Reagan 

With the majority of our generation self absorbed and oblivious to political and social issues, guess who is in the prime position to lead? That’s right, the Christian conservatives. Those of us raised “right” will be ready to regain control and once again apply morality and our founding fundamentals to government. The prospect of this should be encouraging and exciting.
